Any Ex-Catholics? Share your stories?

I was a Catholic for about 40 years and recently left the church. Let me tell you why. Reading thoroughly the 4 Gospels (which as a Catholic we allow a priest to do for us), there is no reference to Mary as being an intercessor. Jesus was baptized with sinners by John the Baptist showing His humility. Where is the humility of the pope? People kiss his ring while he is dressed like a king living in a multi-billion dollar castle, ask yourself after you read the Gospel did Jesus live this way or give this type of command? No references to priests being able to forgive your sins, only Jesus can do this. and ask yourself how many pedophile priests were doing this! Praying to statues is idolatry, something stressed NOT to do. If you feel the need to leave the catholic church and join the Christ's church, please do so.. Remember what Jesus said "many will go to the wide gate, few will find the narrow one"
