Fellow Christians: Do we cling to the notion that America was founded on "Christian principals"?
It was founded by predominantly Christian leaders based on Biblical principles and morals. Yes, there were exceptions and you can probably dig up some quotes and make a case that some of the principles contradict certain passages from the Bible, but if you look overall at the founders and their guidelines for our country, you would have to be blind to miss the fact that this country was founded on what the people of that time felt was a Biblically sound foundation. If the atheists and historical revisionists want to rewrite history to eliminate that fact is irrelevant. The more they try to take God out of this country the worse things get. I'm afraid they will soon get their wish and they won't be happy with the result. They're like the guy who works for a good company that pays him a good wage and supports his family and he walks around complaining all day about having to work so hard for such a lousy company. They love all the benefits but just have to complain about the source of those benefits.
