Buy direct from Apple or Best Buy?

I'd go apple and buy the extended service plan, I am quite sure that this covers the accidental damage and MANY other things for 3 years, although price can be up to 280$$$ depending on which computer. I just find that manufactures tend to honor the product more if you order it directly, and apple is a company with GREAT customer service.
