Using the St. Joseph statue to buy a house, Is this Idolatry?

Some people use voodoo to get their own way. You mention using a statue to get your own way. My Bible tells me that your Heavenly Father loves you the most. Why not place yourself, and all that you own in His hands. Ask Him to help you desire according to His will. God is the one that knew you before He formed you in your mothers womb. Trust Him to know what is best for you. There is a home that I think is pretty special myself. I'm placing my needs and heart in His capable hands. He knows what is best for me. As a Christian which I understand to mean Christlike, means my focus needs to be looking up to Christ. My life needs to be in service to others, rather than building larger barns to hold more stuff here on earth. Jesus said His kingdom is not of this world. He is preparing a mansion in Heaven for me up there. The street are paved in gold up there. This world is not my final home.
