Why are there so few baseball fans in Florida?

In my opinion, its on how teams are marketed. In florida, there are the miami heat, orlando magic, florida panthers, tampa bay lightning, and 3 football teams, jacksonille, bucs and dolphins. If you take note of the NHL's Washington Capitals, they didn't have many fans in past years and were in comparably the same position as these teams. Then they drafted Ovechkin, and have been marketing the team around how great this one player is, and all of a sudden people come to watch. This could be a problem, but another thing to take into account is that there is 7 other teams to go watch and maybe baseball isnt on the top of people's list to watch.
