Why do my fellow Christians feel the need to force religion onto others and knock them when they argue?
I'm a Christian. I practice the gifts openly and have a strong tie to my church. I am an elder/leader in the church, yet I am getting more and more frustrated with some of the Christians who come on here and point the finger at atheist's, Buddhist, Muslims, etc, etc. My whole existence is not to judge and not to force others to become Christians, but to love and to care for my fellow man. I mean come on people, even Jesus hung out with the tax collectors, the prostitutes, the fornicators. He never judged and said " if you don't follow me right now you will burn in hell." so why do my fellow Christians feel the need to do this to non-believers. Respect their opinion as it is, an opinion. Leave emotion at the door and read their responses and try to understand that everyone will not believe what you do and that is alright. I pray for the ones who I think are lost, but I do not judge, that is for God and God alone. Not us. When we start to preach at others about our beliefs and correct them in a way that is not in love you are practicing a form of idolatry.
